About Sinimalism Studio

What is Sinimalism Studio?

What is at the core of Sinimalism Studio that separates it from other online movement platforms?

Who do you get to practice with at the studio?

Our mission is to

Find ease and relief with specific movements and focusing on what matters.

Minimalism for wellness.

From chaos and brainfog to minimalism and focus

You may agree that nowadays it’s not a lack of options we are facing when looking for online movement platforms.

It’s rather too many options and after browsing for a while, you just get more cofused on wondering is this for me, is this what I need, what actually are my goals and would I do the online practices at home regularly?

From this indecisiveness and lack of clarity created by dozens of choices and options we have nowadays in daily basis in all aspects of life, Sinimalism Studio wants to offer simplicity and clear focus on only the one thing that matters.

Deeply inspired by minimalism and deep focus, Sinimalism Studio applies these into wellness.

It means finding your why.

SMALL STEPS, BIG IMPACT

WORK SMART, NOT HARD

Think of it like this:

Does it motivate you to do a morning yoga every morning?

When you could just hit that snooze button when you don’t know your reason to get up and dedicate to your daily wellness routine.

Why are you actually even doing daily morning yoga or routine?

You may have confused mind, anxiety or back pain, yet you choose a random 15 minute morning yoga which does not per se help with the feelings of unease you are feeling.

This may sound pessimistic, but at Sinimalism Studio we start with problems.

Because only then we can focus on what matters and finding the solutions and ease.

From problem-focused to solution-focused

Sinimalism Studio offers monthly and quarterly courses to build habits that actually help solving the mind-body-soul discomforts you are feeling.

All the courses are a response for practitioners who have come to Sini with their problem and want to seek solutions rather than just doing another random yoga flow without even knowing why.

Examples of the problems with Sinimalism Studio’s solutions:

“I like to do yoga, but I have sciatica

so I can’t always do it as it irritates my sciatic nerve.”

  • This means the current yoga classes are focusing on
making body work for the asanas instead of the asanas working for the body.

To make asanas work for the body means finding the movements that actually support you.

Moves that activate small spinal muscles, decompresses the intervertebral discs making space for the nerves, like sciatic nerve, decompressing the nerves with nerve-gliding and mobilising the body gently, so that the nervous system doesn’t get irritated.

This works rather than forcing body into postures that “are good for you to do”.

From this was created course:

SCIATICA RELIEF

that launches 1 August 2024

If you would want to know more about poses that you should or should not do with sciatic pain, read article:

10 Yoga moves to avoid and 10 to do for sciatica

“I feel so good after the yoga class! I have an online yoga monthly subscription but I don’t know why I don’t manage to make it a routine.”

  • With the help of community and clear weekly schedule we can find a yoga routine that actually sticks

This 3 month course

YOGA ROUTINE THAT STICKS

launches 1 September 2024

The course is divided into three months:

1. Month: Grounding practice to establish routines

2. Month: Core strength and ability to show up

3. Month: Opening heart and mind to consistency

You can join it for 1,2 or full 3 months.

It includes weekly schedule including one 60 minute class and 15 minute class that you can do daily or as often as you feel like.

“My mom would want to do yoga but

she can’t be on her knees and she is quite stiff”

  • This means we need to find props to make poses accessible and skip the poses on knees

Yes, it is possible to enjoy the benefits of moving body and focusing on breath without kneeling.

From this was formed a 4 week yoga course without kneeling and without flexibility required.

This 4 week

ACCESSIBLE MIND-BODY CONNECTION WITHOUT KNEELING

launches on 1 December 2024

“I have anxiety and migraines and

I can’t really calm down my mind

to focus and to fall asleep.”

  • This means our sympathetic nervous system has taken over and
we find it hard to activate parasympathetic nervous system

From this was formed also Sini’s personal life-changing course

as she used to suffer from chronic migraines, insomnia and anxiety.

Years of discovering the specific methods to help,

was finally formed a course

NERVOUS SYSTEM – FROM ANXIETY TO RELIEF

that launches 1 October 2024

“I am a runner and would need to mobilise my stiff body”

  • Mobility and strengthening psoas can bring great benefits for runners

From this was formed a course

RUNNERS MOBILITY AND RECOVERY

that focuses on activating and mobilizing especially hip flexors,

hips and posterior chain muscles with principles from pilates, yin yoga and hatha yoga.

RUNNERS’ MOBILITY AND RECOVERY

launches 1 april 2025

“I watched your YouTube videos and I want to thank you for your verbalization so well!

I'm blind and I'd really like to do yoga, but it's hard to find videos, instructors and classes where you feel comfortable enough to focus.

I mean, "raise your hand" is still a long way from knowing which hand to raise and in which direction. Try to do with that cueing, let alone breathe and concentrate.

Please continue in the same way, focusing on accurate verbal description! There are few equally good videos.”

  • From this lovely feedback I created a yoga course where you can
fully turn inwards and just listen to the cueing without screens.

The course is both in videos and just in audio tracks so you can do it without screen time.

The course is suitable for blind people and it encourages you to turn fully inward for the somatic movement.

This 4 week screenless online yoga course is ideal also for people who spend too much time on screens daily and want to really turn inwards with clear guidance while staying in the safe environment of home.

This course suitable for visual impairment called

NO SCEENTIME

INWARDS WITH AUDIO TRACK AND

SOMATIC MOVEMENT

These 1:1 discomforts brought to Sinimalism started the creation of solution-focused courses to back in four weeks all the most specific movements, principles and techniques to answer that problem.

What separates Sinimalism Studio from

other online yoga/movement platforms

Sinimalism Studio is not purely online yoga.

At Sinimalism Studio we offer also yoga courses.

However, Samadhi is not the goal of all the courses, as we want to give tailored solutions for real-life problems.
